Members of the Save the Weld Action Group (SWAG) have highlighted the destruction of unique forests, just minutes from one of Tasmania’s premiere tourist attractions, at the National Eco Tourism Conference meet being held at the Tahune Airwalk tommorrow, 30th November. The protest will coincide with a presentation made by Evan Rolley, Forestry Tasmania’s CEO.

Just one day from the conclusion of the official Atlantic hurricane season, Tropical Storm Epsilon forms in the central Atlantic. Although a much milder, less threatening storm than the likes of Katrina and Rita, it is the 26th of a record breaking season. The 2nd most hectic hurricane season was 1933, when 21 storms were recorded.
