Tasmanian tree is number 6 of the world’s tallest

The Tasmanian Blue Gum found in the Snowy Ranges in the South of Tasmania is now recorded as the 6th tallest in the world. Discovered near to burnt and logged areas there is worry that other equally gigantic trees are being destroyed indiscriminately.

Recognition and preservation in the new Kalpowar National Park agreement
