Pulp mill rally (Tamar Valley)Link to full story

Federal Environment Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, is deciding whether the proposed Tamar Valley pulp mill should be approved or rejected. According to the Wilderness Society, Turnbull already has scientific evidence that the pulp mill will pollute the sea and harm marine life and fisheries.

This rally at Low Head aims to support this beautiful part of Tasmania’s coastline and convince the Minister to stop the proposed mill.

Rally commences at 12 noon, Sunday 7th October, at East Beach, Low Head (just outside of Launceston).
