Led by China, developing nations have reportedly walked out “en masse” to protest against more developed countries’ unwillingness to extend the Kyoto Protocol, which does not oblige the former group to cut greenhouse gas emissions. The suspension of negotiations leaves the Copenhagen summit on the brink of collapse.
